I have watched helplessly
As they threew life away, so carelessly.
I have felt within me
As my life drained right out of me.
I have walked to Death's door
And from the dark, I have returned,
I have felt my life swiftly burn,
I have felt the living funeral pyre
Burning with all its insidious fire,
I have seen the end of my life,
Acknowledged that it could have come.
I have defied Death before,
I have stood laughing at its door,
And let go in to oblivion,
Knowing I will surely live.
I have felt them take my life away,
And known I will wake to see another day.
I have laughed in the face of fear,
Smiled as Death descended on dark shadow over my consciousness,
For I knew I would return.
I have been a lifeless husk,
A soulless shell in a deep deep sleep,
With a smile on my face because I could see
I would open my eyes
To behold another sunrise
And in joy I walked from that place,
Because I have laughed in Death's face.
Wow I liked it. It was awesome. I wish I could write like that.
That comes easily. I don't understand why everyone ooohs over it... I'm just writing. Oh well.

yes, i like this alot too. and honestly, writing is not so easy for everyone i don't think. i often feel inspired and go to try and write, but as soon as i try my mind goes black as a blank screen and i am not even able to think, so goodbye writing. lol
Oh god I know how that feels. It's like, I want to say something, but it's just too complex and it... goes away.
